Blackall Park Kate - 14/10/2006 (Daley K/ Stirling Lady)

Kate is a very beautiful grey  two and a half  year old  filly, and is full sister to Emaville Detour, currently being prepared for showjumping by owner Grant Hughes. Detour, a tall 17.1hh gelding is described by Grant as possibly the best Daley K horse he has had. That's a big statement when you  consider the horses that Grant has had. (see our performers page). Kate is also full sister to Blackall Park Matilda, retained at Blackall Park to become a competetive representative, and later an elite broodmare.

Kate has been broken in by Grant Hughes, and was going perfectly under saddle before being turned out for a spell.  She is currently agisted near Canberra and will be returning to Blackall Park to be prepared for sale.

Kate is undoubtably from the top shelf  at Blackall Park and should be considered by the most serious competitors in either discipline, and also by breeders of the future.

Inspection by appointment only, price on application.
Blackall Park Fletcher - 16/9/2006  (Daley K/ Contaj)

Fletcher is a very well grown grey  two year old gelding.  He is an outstanding type. Showjumpers should study his pedigree carefully, as he carries famous jumping bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree. He is particularly quiet and a delight to handle. While Fletcher seems "bred to jump", he also displays enormous loose jointed, flamboyant movement, equal to, or better than most purpose bred dressage horses.  Fletcher has been broken in by  Grant Hughes,   and is  now going well under saddle.

Fletcher is the first foal from Contaj to be offered for sale by Blackall Park. Also from Contaj is the young chestnut horse Oliver Puzzle who started his jumping career with  Gavin Chester, and has recently moved to the McDermott family to be ridden by Tom.  We feel sure that whoever  buys Fletcher will quickly realize what a star they have on their hands.

Blackall Park 007 - 27/12/2006  (Lanthan/Blackall Park Willow)

007 is a grey two and a half year old gelding. He is by the outstanding German sire of Dressage and showjumping  horses Lanthan (dec), from the very good Daley K mare BP Willow.  Even as a yearling,  007 showed the high front and strong crest typical of the European dressage horse.  This combined with flamboyant and extravagant movement, ensures that this youngster will develop into a horse of the highest quality. From a jumping point of view, 007 displays outstanding technique and scope when free schooled over fences.

007's dam BP Willow is a full sister to the outstanding showjumper BP Sox,(exp Japan) BP Fox,(exp USA) BP Dyma and also the very talented Cavalier Boots. (See our performers page)   All of these horses had a high level of dressage ability, and could easily have had successful careers in that discipline.
007 is one of very few horses available in this country by the wonderful Lanthan, and should be snapped up by admirers of that famous breedline.

Inspection by appointment only, price on application.
Blackall Park Bolivia  - 2007 (Daley K/ Silent Echo) -   DOB 22/9/2007

Bolivia is a well grown filly, quiet and unblemished. She is a full sister to Raymond K, Blackall Park Boston, Blackall Park Atlas, Blackall Park Clementine, and several others. All of this family have shown above average jumping ability and movement. A particularly  attractive filly, she would suit either discipline.
Blackall Park Colorado - 2007 (Daley K/ Snowy River Black Springs) - DOB 7/10/2007

Colorado is an outstanding gelding.  Sure to be big, he is attractive with white markings, unblemished and very quiet. He is full brother to Blackall Park Einstein and Blackall Park Comet. Both of these horses are performing well for their respective Canberra district owners. Colorado is the  only  gelding offered for sale by Blackall Park from the 2007 age group and should be considered by riders aiming for the highest level.
Blackall Park Argentina - 2007 (Mayfield Pzazz/Astra) - DOB 30/10/2007

Argentina is a striking dark grey filly with outstanding movement. She is the first foal from Astra, a mare that was purchased by the stud for her strong bloodlines. Argentina should be considered by both dressage and showjumping riders.
Blackall Park Kentucky - 2007  (Daley K/Balmoral Daisy) - DOB 29/11/2007

Kentucky is the last foal from a great family dynasty that included Emmaville Design, Emmaville Diplomat, Blackall Park Winchester, Blackall Park Nero, Silverton, Blackall Park Limerick, Cool K, and others. This young colt could well be retained as a future stallion  to carry on this great family line.  Certainly from a breeding point of view it would seem impossible that he will not become a high level showjumper.
